Every season the fashion mags put forward a few trends that are ‘musts’ if you want continued sartorial existence. For this season, ‘brights’ and ‘neons’ got so much coverage, it felt like the fashion universe was throwing down a gauntlet saying ‘BRIGHTS…show us what you got!’ To which my response is ‘You want brilliant color? OK. I will give you a vivid magenta dress. Not impressed? How bout if I add some resplendent bubble-gum pink shoes! What’s that you say? More? You want MOOOOOOORE?!! Have it your way…I’ll include a sunny orange bag and raise you a dazzling neon DANNIJO necklace. Satisfied? I thought so.
