deja vu in blue

trousers: T.Babaton (via Aritzia); sweater: Bebe (old, i.e. before they got trashy, so really old); necklace: DANNIJO; shoes: Pour la Victoire

Yessiree…yours truly decided to step out in trousers. It’s not a very common occurrence mainly because I find the flirty, flippy, feminity of skirts so easy to identify with (pants sometimes feel so serious) but also because finding a great pair of pants- a pair that fit through waist, hip and thigh, a pair that make my legs look long and lean while still feeling fun enough to feel like me has proven over the years to be difficult to find.

This is why when I come across a pair of trousers that I really like, I get them in more than one color. You might remember T.Babaton’s Cohen pant in black from this spirited post?! Well, the refined pleats coupled with easy comfort were so enticing, a soft blue hue was enough to send me skipping back to the store.

Wearing these yesterday, a woman in the elevator at work turned to me and, her voice reverberating around the enclosed space, barked ‘THOSE ARE GREAT PANTS’. I said thank you courteously while inside I was just giddy and squealing ‘I KNOW!!!!’

HAPPY WEDNESDAY :)
