I love the weekend…who doesn’t? The leisurely mornings…the pancakes(!!)…afternoons of liberty under the sun…and seemingly limitless possibilities for the evening. BUT (you knew this was coming, didn’t you?!) I often experience pangs of panic as I hang up my work aesthetic and try to attain that perfect marriage of casual and smart for two days of freedom.

It’s so difficult, no?! Trying to find that balance between easeful comfort and the kind of awesomeness you want in your back pocket every time you stride into a bar (not that one spends the whole weekend doing so).

This sprite was not about to let a little sartorial conundrum keep her from frolicking. I’ve busted out my favorite jeans (I know…pants…quel surprise!) and paired them with a structured blouse, clean jacket and metaled bling…ooh…almost forgot the leopard heels…MEOWWWW. Watch out Saturday, here I come!
