Does anyone else see this dress and start singing a little AC/DC: ‘back in black….it’s been too long, I’m glad to be back.’ No?! Well I guess I’ll have to indulge my penchant for classic rock another time.
Moving on to the clothes- I had to get on the Harley bandwagon of this season’s leather trend which has specialized in taking leather out of its expected use in jackets and chaps (in case any cowboys read this) and instead incorporates it into more conservative garments…it’s like Joan Jett meets Audrey Hepburn.
I love how this dress infuses a demurely feminine silhouette with a little rock ‘n’ roll…if there’s a hedge fund in need of a groupie, I think I’m dressed the part!

Joan Jett meets Audrey Hepburn is definitely a good way to describe this! Do you remember that old Gap commercial that had the dancing scene with Audrey from Funny Face but with “Back in Black” in the background? I’m disappointed you’re not doing that dance in these photos.

I feel for you! Shopper’s regret can be a tough pill to swallow. I did see some nice dresses featuring leather panels in Club Monaco. They might be a bit more expensive than Aqua but they were really awesome.
