Over the summer my makeup routine kicked up its heels and decided to take it easy. Lipgloss was the most I wore on my lips and my eyes stayed relatively soft with smoky eyeliner. Now that autumn is here, I decided it was time to kick it up a notch. Welcome back a bright red lip and a liquid-lined cat eye (the latter took me three tries to get right, guess my makeup sabbatical made me a little rusty). The move to a more refined and demure face referenced Parisian chic to me and so it seemed fitting to pair it with a frenchified bird (he’s wearing a beret). I think we are ready for our close up, oui?

And my make-up is also always lighter in summer, in winter I tend to wear lipstick more often
