The genesis of ‘The Little Train That Could’ must have come from San Francisco. This city has some pretty serious hills and this little blogger huffed and puffed her way up the imposing slopes of Nob Hill to find you an impressive vantage point (I wasn’t crazy enough to do it in heels but I also wasn’t a slouch taking the trolley). Now is this a view or is this a view?
I usually relegate pulling my hair back in this manner to face washing but the wind was so fierce, it was really the only option. Don’t believe me? LOOK…
WHOA NELLY…that was a close one. All the tourists at Lombard Street almost got a show, instead they just had to suffice with some pretty nifty layering: winter-ready sweater over summer-light dress is perfect for this cool town. Nothing like chillier temps and rolling fog to get you in the mood for autumn.
Love the green sweater! It makes me ready for fall!
I really like the mix of fall and summer pieces. The color combo is beautiful. And while I don’t want you showing your goods to all of San Fran, I DO love a good skirt-in-the-wind photo!

I love skirt-in-the-wind photos too but sometimes my hair disagrees!
