My Darlings- I am so sorry to have been MIA. Over the past week my life resembled whac-a-mole with me cast as the poor creature getting bonked over the head with a plastic baton every time I tried to come up for air. The good news is that it’s Friday and it’s time to celebrate- what better way than with a dress that was made for dancing?!

The ruffles on this skirt are just perfect for shimmying and shaking up a storm. When trying on this dress at Rugby, I actually did bust a move in the fitting room to see just how awesome it would be on the dance floor (it occurs to me I may soon have to start posting videos so you can see first hand just how goofy I can get in my couture). I almost had a dance partner as a rather odd woman tried to burst into my changing area looking for her lost scarf. Luckily I grabbed the curtain just as exposure was imminent and decency was maintained.

All’s well that end’s well and in this story, I ended up with the perfect fun, summertime ensemble- fit for a night out on the town.
