Over the last few weeks, most of my Monday posts have featured casual looks that were leftovers of the weekend just past. While mooning over delicious Saturdays and Sundays is understandable, it’s not especially helpful when Monday comes around filled with a backlog of work that you were too busy to get to last week (and by ‘busy’ I mean engrossed in the TomKat implosion- well-played K. Holmes- to the detriment of your work and even your blog).
So this week I am turning over a new leaf and grabbing Monday by the balls. What better way to do this than with a streamlined pencil skirt and floaty blouse, both playing in the neutral color spectrum. The separates say business but the added detailing of the piping on the skirt and the print of the blouse keep it interesting enough to avoid drone territory. Procrastination has met its match in this ensemble.
Time to bid you all adieu and get to work, but first I’ll check out Lainey, just in case there is, ya know, something important. Have a great Monday!
Great look as usual.
Thanks
Beautiful! That pencil skirt is gorgeous on you! Happy Monday.
Happy Monday to you too and thank you for your kind words!
I love love LOVE those shoes! <3
These shoes are amazing. I love pretty shoes but my appetite for uncomfortable shoes has greatly depleted as I’ve moved through my twenties. I wore these heels out Saturday night, by the end of the evening taxis were in short supply but I realized if needed, I would be able to walk home which is saying something- A LOT of something!!
Thanks so much for visiting!!
Love the nude! You look very professional.
