1 skirt, 3 ways: stripes on stripes

skirt: Madewell (but you knew that already!); top and bralet (for a little extra support): Wilfred via Aritzia; shoes: L.K. Bennett; bag: Rebecca Minkoff: necklace: Whistles; cuff: DANNIJO

We’re rounding out the week here at style sprite with a stripes on stripes variation involving my lovely Madewell stalwart (for previous looks click here and here). There is something so easy about stripes, it immediately speaks to a relaxed summer weekend. I really love how the complementing blue stripes on the top and skirt make the ensemble look, from distance, like a dress. The bareness of the tank combined with the slim fit throughout lends a bodycon quality that is perfectly suited for an evening out, especially if romantic shenanigans are involved! The heels on the bottom amp up the whole look and I’m officially ready for the weekend. Have a great one :)

  1. Haha…”romantic shenanigans.” I love your little phrases. And this might be my favorite outfit of the 3! These pieces look like they were made for each other. If you leave this top and skirt alone in the closet together, they might just have some romantic shenanigans of their own. And then in a few months there will be striped baby clothes or something.
